Bio

Larry Bonćhaka (b. 1994) is a Ghanaian multi-media artist whose practice revolves around a critical interest in identity politics, material culture, community based projects and cohabitation. His strikingly simple, yet thoughtful still-life pieces mirror the everyday systems of production and meaning making. Larry is currently pursuing his Master of Arts degree at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste – Städelschule, Frankfurt am Main. He is the co-founder of the artists’ collective ASAFO BLACK and the artists’ and architects’ collective COMMUNNE 6x3.
